Diving in Amed, Bali

Our time in Amed started off with a gender division as both Tammie and Vroni have not followed a diving course yet. Chris and I started off with the highlight of Amed which is the wreck of the USAT Liberty at the dive site called Tulamben. It is known as one of the best wrecks for diving in the world and we can really say: It is amazing. You do not even need a boat as the wreck is just 30m from the shore. We had an awesome dive there with just the wreck being crazy cool and we saw a black tip reef shark, an octopus and a turtle all in one dive! The second dive of that day was at the nearby drop-off which was also really great.

During the next day Chris and I did two dives again and on day three Vroni and Tammie joined us to get their open water dives for their course. We went to the USAT Liberty again and it was another really good dive there. The girls had a blast and this place is just incredible for your first dives. Vroni and Tammie finished all their exams successfully and in the evening we decided to stay one more day to enjoy two more dives together before moving on.

All in all the marine life in Amed is very nice with plenty of corals, fish and more. We have seen plenty blue-spotted stingrays, nudibranches, fire fish, two turtles, an octopus, so many puffer fish and more. Just awesome!

Thank you for the great time Fab Dive Amed (www.balifabdive.com).

All the best from Indonesia,

Keep cycling,

Vroni, Droni & Joni
