Before our time in China was up, we had to take the chance to visit Jonas' friend from university Alex at his home in Yueyang. We had a great time in his city and at the amazing Avatar Mountains together. Click to read more and watch our new video.

Our route through the lower mountains was still pretty hilly, we had to climb a lot, but also enjoyed beautiful valleys and gorges. On our last day into Leibo we had an amazing day with some locals who invited us at two totally different occasions. Click to read more and watch our new video. 

Leaving Shangri-La in Northern direction was a great plan but after half a day of cycling, the police informed us that the passes to Litang were still closed and that we had to find another way. We changed our route and headed back South to Lijiang to keep cycling West from there to get to Chengdu this way. Click to read more and watch our new video. 

We spend two days hiking through Tiger Leaping Gorge and had the most amazing weather for it. Our next stop was Shangri-La, where we cycled to afterwards. Click to read more and watch our new video.

A train ride and a day on a bus got us from Yangshuo in Central China to the province of Yunnan where we are now traveling North into some really hilly but beautiful mountains. Click to read more and watch our new video.
